Planning eco-friendly home improvements efficiently
Éco-Courtier works with customers who want to improve the energy efficiency of their homes or plan eco-friendly features for new houses. Common requests include improvements to roofs, walls, and ventilation systems, often supported by government incentives in France.
Before using magicplan, the company relied on a Windows-based software solution. Over time, that software proved unreliable across different Windows versions. As a result, Éco-Courtier evaluated 12 different software solutions across multiple mobile devices before choosing magicplan.
Solution
Using one tool to capture, plan, and report renovation projects
During the first meeting with a customer, Éco-Courtier experts tour the house and listen to what the customer wants. At the same time, they use magicplan to capture photos and define the project.
This initial phase includes asking practical questions related to daily usage and comfort preferences. According to Sébastian, this process takes about 10 to 15 minutes. After that, Éco-Courtier provides recommendations and works with the customer to build the plan.
Once the plan and specifications are complete, an engineer reviews and checks all technical details using magicplan. After approval, the team prints a report from magicplan and adds it to the contract.
When presenting the plan again, Éco-Courtier walks through the house with the customer. If changes are requested, they capture photos, record comments in magicplan, and generate an updated report that includes those demands.
Results
Saving time and reducing costs during project planning
