GroundWorks™ works with a panel of independent, local inspectors across the United States and provides specifications for standardized inspections, including required sketches. In its pursuit of a best-in-class solution, GroundWorks™ sought a mobile technology creation tool that would enable inspectors to draw full floor plans accurately using a mobile device and laser measuring tool, rather than relying on footprint sketches.

Enabling inspectors to create full floor plans using mobile devices
magicplan offered GroundWorks™ the ability to use mobile technology to create full floor plans directly on site. After downloading the app, local inspectors were able to create floor plans immediately using only their mobile device.
magicplan is easy to use and intuitive to handle, allowing inspectors to adopt it quickly in the field. In addition, magicplan supported GroundWorks™ with initial custom demos to support rollout and onboarding.
By connecting laser measuring tools via Bluetooth, GroundWorks™ inspectors are able to create accurate full floor plans as part of their inspection workflow.
