Heat Engineer Software is a UK-based heating design technology company created to make heating system design faster, easier, and more accurate. Founded in 2012 by a practical heating designer and launched as a cloud platform in 2015, the software grew out of real-world field experience. Today, the platform handles property surveying, room-by-room heat loss calculations, emitter and pipe sizing, and professional reporting for both renewable and traditional heating systems. The partnership
Reliable heat loss calculations depend entirely on accurate room dimensions, wall areas, and floor plans. Through this integration, heating engineers can quickly capture a building layout using magicplan’s LiDAR scanning and fine-tune the 2D plan right on site. That floor plan data then flows directly into Heat Engineer Software for calculation and design work. By cutting out manual measuring and double data entry, field techs save time while making sure their heating designs, sizing, and estimates are dead-on.
