What it does

  • Create new magicplan projects automatically when you move a Trello card to a specific list.

  • Upload exported magicplan files and photos directly to Trello cards as attachments.

  • Create new Trello cards automatically whenever a new project is exported in magicplan.

  • Update Trello card descriptions or move them to new lists when magicplan projects are completed.

How it works?

The connection uses Zapier to link Trello boards with magicplan. You select a trigger, such as a card moving to a "Site Visit" list, which then creates a project in magicplan. Data and files move between the apps based on the rules you define in your Zapier account.

Requirements

  • Active magicplan account

  • Trello account

  • Zapier account

How to set it up

  1. Log in to your Zapier account.

  2. Select Trello and magicplan as the two apps you want to connect.

  3. Choose a trigger from Trello, such as "Card Moved to List."

  4. Choose an action for magicplan, such as "Create Project."

  5. Log in to both your Trello and magicplan accounts to authorize the connection.

  6. Map the Trello card fields to the corresponding project fields in magicplan.

  7. Test the setup to ensure cards and projects sync correctly and then turn on the Zap.
