This integration connects Stanley Bluetooth laser distance meters to magicplan through PrecisionLink. It allows users to sync exact measurements from their hardware to a digital plan to ensure total accuracy.

What it does

  • Transfer physical dimensions from a Stanley device to walls and objects in magicplan

  • Achieve 100% accuracy for projects where manual scanning is not applicable

  • Manage paired Stanley hardware through the magicplan device list

  • Speed up site surveys by removing the need for manual data transcription

How it works?

The Stanley laser measure connects to a mobile device via Bluetooth. When a user selects a dimension in magicplan and takes a reading with the laser, the data is instantly sent to the app and applied to the floor plan.

  • Mobile device with Bluetooth 4.0 or higher

  • Active project or floor plan open in magicplan

How to set it up

  1. Turn on the Stanley laser measuring device.

  2. Open the magicplan app and enter a floor plan.

  3. Tap on a room, then select the wall or object you need to measure.

  4. Open the details menu by swiping up on a phone or tapping the "i" icon on a tablet.

  5. Tap the blue numerical measurement value.

  6. Select the "Laser" option in the "Change Measurement" pop-up.

  7. Locate the Stanley model under "Nearby Devices" and tap "Connect."

  8. Take the measurement with the Stanley device and tap "Done" in the app.
