This integration connects Stabila Bluetooth laser distance meters to magicplan via PrecisionLink. It allows users to capture physical dimensions and sync them directly with their digital floor plans for 100% accuracy.

What it does

  • Transfer point-to-point measurements from a Stabila device to any magicplan wall or object

  • Map distances to floor plan dimensions in real time to eliminate manual entry

  • Achieve exact precision for complex indoor surveys where AR scanning may not be sufficient

  • Verify and update room dimensions directly through the app's measurement interface

How it works?

Stabila laser measures pair with your mobile device using Bluetooth. When a dimension is selected in magicplan, the user takes a measurement with the Stabila hardware, which then automatically updates the value in the app.

Requirements

  • Active magicplan account

  • Bluetooth-enabled Stabila laser measure (e.g., LD 250 BT, LD 520, or LD 530 BT)

  • Mobile device with Bluetooth capability

  • Active project within the magicplan app

How to set it up

  1. Turn on the Stabila laser measuring device and ensure Bluetooth is activated.

  2. Open the magicplan app and enter a floor plan.

  3. Tap the room you wish to measure.

  4. Select a specific wall or object to open its dimension details.

  5. Open the details menu by swiping up on a phone or tapping the "i" icon on a tablet.

  6. Tap the blue measurement value on the floor plan.

  7. Select the "Laser" option in the "Change Measurement" pop-up.

  8. Locate your Stabila model under "Nearby Devices" and tap "Connect."

  9. Perform the measurement with the laser hardware and tap "Done" in the app.
