Asana magicplan integration
Contents
About the integration
What it does
Create new magicplan projects automatically when an Asana task is updated.
Upload exported magicplan files and reports directly to a specific task in Asana.
Update existing Asana tasks with details from newly exported magicplan projects.
Sync project information to keep team tasks and field data consistent.
How it works?
The connection uses Zapier to link Asana and magicplan. When a trigger event occurs, such as updating a task in Asana, Zapier sends the data to magicplan to create or update a project. Files exported from magicplan can also be sent back to Asana tasks as attachments.
Requirements
Active magicplan account
Asana account
Zapier account
How to set it up
Log in to your Zapier account.
Select Asana and magicplan from the app list.
Choose a trigger from Asana, such as "Updated Task."
Choose an action for magicplan, such as "Create Project."
Log in to your Asana and magicplan accounts to authorize the connection.
Map the Asana task fields to the corresponding project fields in magicplan.
Set up a second action to send magicplan exports back to Asana tasks.
Test the connection and turn on the Zap.
