This integration connects ServiceTrade with magicplan to sync job details and project files. it automates the creation of site projects and the transfer of documentation between the office and the field.

What it does

  • Create new magicplan projects automatically when a new job is scheduled in ServiceTrade.

  • Upload magicplan PDF reports directly to the corresponding ServiceTrade job record.

  • Attach photos captured in magicplan to ServiceTrade jobs automatically.

  • Sync customer location and contact data from ServiceTrade into magicplan project fields.

How it works?

The connection uses Zapier to link ServiceTrade and magicplan. When a job is created or updated in ServiceTrade, Zapier sends that data to magicplan to start a new project. Completed files and images from magicplan are sent back to ServiceTrade records through the same connection.

Requirements

  • Active magicplan account

  • ServiceTrade account

  • Zapier account

How to set it up

  1. Log in to your Zapier account.

  2. Select ServiceTrade and magicplan from the app list.

  3. Choose a trigger from ServiceTrade, such as "New Job."

  4. Choose an action for magicplan, such as "Create Project."

  5. Log in to your ServiceTrade and magicplan accounts to authorize the connection.

  6. Map the customer and job data from ServiceTrade to the correct project fields in magicplan.

  7. Set up a second action or Zap to send magicplan exports back to ServiceTrade as attachments.

  8. Test the connection and turn on the Zap.
