What it does

  • Create new magicplan projects automatically when a new job is scheduled in Housecall Pro.

  • Transfer customer contact information and job site addresses from Housecall Pro to magicplan.

  • Generate magicplan projects from new incoming job requests in Housecall Pro.

  • Sync project updates between the field and the office to reduce manual entry.

How it works?

The connection uses Zapier to link Housecall Pro and magicplan. When a job or request is created in Housecall Pro, Zapier triggers the creation of a project in magicplan. Data such as the customer name and location is automatically populated in the new project.

Requirements

  • Active magicplan account

  • Housecall Pro account

  • Zapier account

How to set it up

  1. Log in to your Zapier account.

  2. Search for Housecall Pro and magicplan in the app directory.

  3. Select a trigger from Housecall Pro, such as "New Job" or "New Lead."

  4. Select the action "Create Project" for magicplan.

  5. Authorize the connection to your Housecall Pro and magicplan accounts.

  6. Map the Housecall Pro data fields to the corresponding project fields in magicplan.

  7. Test the setup to ensure the project details transfer correctly.

  8. Turn on the Zap.
